the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers

3 personality types, Wakefield Doctrine redux

Hey, glad you could stop by!

You probably do not know it, but this is the first place the Wakefield Doctrine ( the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers ) appeared, blogistically-speaking. Nearly 3 damn years ago, we started writing Posts in the effort to let people everywhere know about the Wakefield Doctrine. (Been pretty darn successful too!)

Quick backstory: the Wakefield Doctrine is a personality theory that is based on the idea that all people experience the world in one of three distinct and characteristic ways, as a clark or a scott or a roger. Unlike most personality schema, the Doctrine does not ask about what you think your likes and dis-likes are, we are not trying to catalog your behaviors and could care less about what you think your dominant traits are. We simply say, ‘as a clark you experience life this way…as a scott, the world you walk out into today will look like this…if you are a roger, then you will live in a world that is this way and so on).
Furthermore, the Wakefield Doctrine holds that we are all born with the potential to see the world in any of these three ways, but for some reason, by the age of 3 or 4 we all settle on one (of the three) and that is the reality we grow up in. The ‘other two’ ways of seeing the world do not disappear, simply go dormant, when we talk about a person being a clarklike personality or a scottian woman or a rogerian guy, we are referring to the pre-dominant way of seeing the world.

All the rest of what personality theories try to figure out simply makes sense, if you know the kind of world/reality the person is experiencing. Pretty simple and a damned elegant solution to a problem that has been plaguing mankind since we could see our shadows on the walls of the cave, “why on earth would he or she behave that way”?

With the Wakefield Doctrine you will not only be able to answer that question, but you will be able to predict the behavior of (the other) person in any of life’s situations.

…and we have hats! (for your damn heads).

the Wakefield Doctrine can also be found here

… did we mention the ‘Call in Show?’   damn, well there is a Call In Show  that we call Wakefield Saturday Night Drive…this is a set up where you can call a number listed on the Wakefield Doctrine blog (no, the other one) and you can talk live and in realtime to Progenitors and DownSprings!! Really…all the while, we will be in a car driving around the actual geographically locatable Wakefield!!  Now, how cool is that…if you do the right thing, there could be a hat (for your damn head) in it for you!.

All this talk about Saturday Night Drive gots me feeling kinda country, so lets listen to Alan sing us a song…

Hey, Jenn, tell our Readers how they totally will be glad that they subscribed to this here blog here and be sure to let them know how, years and years from now, when they are lying on their deathbed(s), with all their children and grandchildren gathered around, they will say, “kids no matter what you encounter in life, no matter how big the problem may seem…if you have a crippling illness or your family leaves you to die, the Wakefield Doctrine will always come through, it will take care of you, it will tell you why your spouse left you, it will even tell you how to fix everything that is wrong with your life! …and hats! those Wakefield Doctrine people, they all got hats (on their damn heads)”

  3. Once you know which of the three personality types you and those around are, be it a clark, a scott or a roger, you’re life will become incredibly easier. You won’t get offended when your friend tells you why you’re such a jerk. He/she can’t help themselves because of their personality type. And since you will know what type that is, you will understand where it’s coming from. That’s the beauty of the Wakefield Doctrine. Understanding the behavior of others and why they say and do the things they do. Check out this video (Clark, insert link to the video about the 3 at a bar-b-q. if you can’t in a reply just change it accordingly) for a funny ‘taste’ of the perception of each of the three (clarks, scotts and rogers) and how to spot them It will most definitely make you say to yourself “ahh… now that makes sense why so and so is…..)”

the Wakefield Doctrine will always come through for you and take care of you because, in addition to the perks mentioned in the post and above, it will always be around. It will bring you comfort because it is based on a belief. The Doctrine is based on the belief that all people have the potential to experience the world in one of three characteristic ways, as a clark or a scott or a roger. just as any religious belief brings comfort and guidance to its’ followers, so too will the Wakefield Doctrine bring the same to its‘ followers. enjoy this video (clark insert most current video link) for a deeper understanding of this concept.

So shake off those unsettling misunderstandings about why your boss is an asshole, why your spouse left you, why you can’t get through to some people, why you are uncomfortable around certain people and head on over to the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers). Seriously. This is not some basement cult. This is the real deal. Set yourself free!
